The Electrodes are transferred through Servo based belt drive, the sensor mounted above belt drive counts the electrodes while dropping. The number of electrodes are settable on HMI screen, as the set number of electrodes gets completed the diversion unit mounted between two flapper units gets actuated with the help of pneumatic cylinder.
The Servo Based belt drive automatically adjust the speed of belt as per requirement during counting, Servo based electrode counting provides accuracy and consistency.
Once the electrodes get dropped inside the pocket it is transferred through chain drive through servo motor for accuracy and sensitive to overload, during transferred the electrodes are properly guide from both sides by the pneumatic cylinder. The electrodes are settled properly inside the pocket by vibrators that are mounted below pocket and also parallel guided from top side so that it does not exceed the height of carton.
Individual cartons are picked from the carton magazine by an oscillating carton pickup unit. The mechanical carton pickup assembly has two arms that oscillates and position 2 suction cups to the front carton. The pickup operation is servo driven for proper formation of carton. Carton pickup assembly place carton between carat angle and carton chain. The carton is forced open by the pressure against the feed guides and moving carton chain attachment.
The Electrodes are pushed inside the carton with the help of individual servo drive for smooth and easy transfer. The pushing operation is only performed when carton is present on the carton chain link / carton conveyor i.e., No carton – No product pushing.
A Hot melt glue unit heats and melt the glue granules into liquid form and the glue ejecting nozzle controls the volume, velocity and direction of molten adhesive as it exits the glue gun, shaping the glue into beads, lines or sprays for various bonding applications. Its key functions include shaping the glue pattern and dispensing the precise amount of adhesive needed for specific task. The flap is plowed down over the glue by entering a curved compression guide situated right after the glue.
